Metered street parking is available but limited. Monday through Saturday, 2-hour parking is enforced from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm for most meters.
Colonial Parking has several garages, with the closest located approximately 4 blocks from the DAR Constitution Hall. Visit Colonial Parking to view garages, rates, and reserve a spot.
The DAR Constitution Hall is accessible from the following Washington Metro public transportation stops:
Use the D Street Entrance, which enters the lobby level of the DAR Constitution Hall. The ramp on D Street may be accessed by vehicles for dropping off patrons with mobility disabilities.
There is no accessible parking available onsite.
Booking Travel to Graduation: It is recommended that graduates and guests refrain from booking travel accommodations until after the ceremony registration opens.
Commencement: Commencement times will be determined after the participation deadline. Participants and attendees assume all financial and health risks associated with attending commencement and must abide by all guidelines as required by the University, venue, and government. Commencement may be canceled or changed to a virtual experience due to government mandates or advisories regarding public health or safety, and the University will not be responsible for any incurred costs or expenses as a result.
